Michael is an angel who has come to earth for the last time. He’s living in an old motel in Iowa with Jean Stapleton who is about to lose her property to the bank. A letter to a tabloid brings in reporters anxious to see a real angel.

Michael works miracles as he travels with the reporters to Chicago. However, as he says, “He’s an angel, not a Saint.”
