Stars fly high at Aviation Awards gala
John Travolta at the 10th Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel
A number of high-flying stars including Harrison Ford and John Travolta turned out to celebrate their passion for the skies at a glitzy aviation gala in Los Angeles this weekend.
If you’re a hugely successful movie star, you must tire of traveling on commercial flights – that must be why so many of Hollywood’s most famous faces have become pilots in their spare time.
Indiana Jones legend Harrison hasn’t traveled coach class in years as he is a fully-qualified pilot, along with Travolta, who loves flying so much he even bought himself his own airport in Florida! The Grease star also flies jumbo jets for Aussie airline Qantas, so it was no surprise to see them both turn out for the 10th Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Beverly Hills on Friday night.
Mr Saturday Night Fever himself, John Travolta- got to share the evening with his gorgeous wife Kelly Preston, looking stunning in a midnight blue frock.
Also present at the bash was another Hollywood veteran – Kurt Russell, who flew solo without his partner Goldie Hawn.
