January 14, 2012-John Travolta and Kelly Preston attend the 2012 G’Day USA Gala

Organized to help promote Australian tourism in the States, the 9th Annual G’Day USA Los Angeles Black Tie Gala was held at the Hollywood & Highland Grand Ballroom on Saturday night (January 14).

Among the nearly 1,000 guests enjoying the Aussie food and wine was new Qantas Ambassador Miranda Kerr, Qantas Ambassador John Travolta with wife Kelly Preston, Jon Voight, Guy Pearce, Priscilla Presley, Paul Hogan and Cody Simpson.

The Saturday night gala was the ninth black-tie event to be held as part of G’day USA week to recognize high-profile Australian achievers in the entertainment industry.
