London Theatre Arts, Performance and Entertainment Magazine – 5***** rave review
“The mutual love affair between the audience and this multi-talented personality had become so all-consuming, he could have sold fresh air and been forgiven. In ‘A Conversation with John Travolta’
the actor proved that his ability to connect with audiences is not just limited to the screen. Oozing charm and still blessed with a cheeky smile and a twinkle in his eyes, he showed his fans that his star is still very
much burning bright.’’

The Hollywood News – 5***** rave review
“The night was billed as ‘A Conversation with John Travolta’ , but it was a lot more than that. It is always a danger for fans to meet their idols for fear of them not living up to expectations, but there was no danger here. If one did not love John Travolta waiting for him to grace the stage on this wonderful night, then one did by the time the curtain fell on the superstar as he danced off stage to the tune of ‘We Go Together’ from perhaps his greatest, and most iconic film.
Applause Mr Travolta, applause.’’

The Daily Telegraph – 3*** review
“When it comes to growing old, Hollywood stars are different from the rest of us. Even so, it is hard to believe that John Travolta turns 60 this week. That sweetly fleshy mug and saucy grin seem hardly changed from his disco days in ‘Saturday Night Fever’. Travolta, like any star, has stories to tell, and he seemed disposed to tell them with grace, if not candour.’’

Vanesa Feltz – Daily Express
‘’On Sunday evening I joined the wildly over-excited crowd at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane to watch two masters of their craft in conversation. Barry Norman interviewed John Travolta. Both men live, eat and breathe cinema. Both have encyclopedic knowledge of directors, cinematographers and scriptwriters.
He told us the enthralled throng that his outstanding ambition is to be a Bond villain.
Laughing his still ravishingly handsome head off and acting all the characters and doing all the voices, he replayed his drunken encounter with a sizzled Barbara Broccoli after last year’s Oscars. Slurring his words he reprised his plea for a menacing role in the next Bond movie and her inebriated promise to make sure he got it. Next day, nursing a hangover, he wondered if Broccoli would remember a word of their conversation. He still doesn’t know.
To mark his 60th birthday, he joyfully cut his airplane cake while still oozing oodles of whatever it takes to make an entire audience swoon.’’

Broadway World review
‘’It’s actually him! After a greatest hits reel that showed the extraordinary breadth and longevity of his work (tellingly he loudest cheers were provoked by iconic scenes from Saturday Night Fever and Grease), he walked amongst us! Well, walked on stage anyway, looking in remarkably good shape for a man on the eve of his 60th birthday. It’s John Travolta!!!
The man himself is just too nice a guy and happily radiated a feel good positive aura that swept everyone along.
Travolta just stayed true to his remarkable ability to connect as an actor, singer and dancer, taking the work he wanted and turning the rest down. And connect he did to everyone in the packed auditorium, eyes a-twinkling and with that same grin that made them (and still making them) swoon in the aisles. It’s electrifying all right!’’

Everything Theatre – 4**** review
‘’It is overwhelming when your cinematic heroes are as wonderful
and great as you expect them to be.
It was a unique chance to see this colossus of the reel, presented in
the interview by the man who has starred in some of the most influential films of the past forty years. The opportunity brought together different generations of people that had either grown up infatuated with his movies, or had followed him closely from the moment he displayed his decadent moves in Saturday Night Fever. Travolta said he doesn’t act for money or fame. He acts for the joy of performing, to keep both him and us entertained. This had everyone shouting ‘thank you’ at the top of our lungs.
It was an evening to always remember.’’

The Upcoming – 3*** review
“The crowd were in raptures as John Travolta strutted into this West
End theatre for a chat. It was instantly clear that his sex appeal has not been lost in the eyes of some, as fans turned up in their droves to see Travolta in person. He still retained the radiant glow of Hollywood and also demonstrated that he hasn’t lost his dancing abilities as a few starstruck fans got the opportunity to dance with their man. Travolta, enthused by all the adoration towards him, made frequent flirtatious glances and remarks to the crowd, and declared: ‘’I’m going to make love to all of you.’’
