ABC’s 10th Annual “Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars” pulled in its 2nd-largest-ever overall audience (5.810 million) and scored its 2nd-strongest performance in 5 years in Adults 18-49 (2.051 million), behind only the prior year’s post-Oscars special.
Host Jimmy Kimmel welcomed guest John Travolta to the studio, as the special also included appearances by Oscar host Neil Patrick Harris, Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, Eddie Redmayne, Lupita Nyong’o, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Gary Oldman, Jeff Bridges, Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell.
Among all “Jimmy Kimmel Live” broadcasts, Sunday’s post-Oscar show attracted the ABC late-night program’s 2nd-biggest audience for any single-day telecast in either late-night or primetime.
