The FBI knows that Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage) hid a bomb in an office building, so FBI agent Sean Archer (John Travolta) undergoes surgery to allow him to switch faces with comatose Castor and assume his identity. But when Castor then assumes Sean’s identity and escapes, the real Sean is thrust into an unimaginable nightmare fighting not only for his own life, but also those of his wife (Joan Allen) and daughter. Archer must convince his family that he isn’t really Castor, and also find the hidden bomb.
