John is filming The Taking of Pelham 1:23.
He plays the leader of a group that hijacks a New York subway train and threatens to kill the passengers unless a ransom is paid, and Denzel Washington plays the role of the chief detective of the subway's security.
Bolt
“Bolt” a computer animated film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, will be released in November 2008. John lends his voice to the lead character - Bolt, a German Shepherd dog.

John Travolta and Kelly Preston Help Raise $1.2 Million for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
John Travolta and Kelly Preston made a personal appearance at the Red Rose Ball charity fundraiser in Jacksonville, Florida on February 15, 2008. It was the most successful one-day charity event in Jacksonville history netting St. Vincent's Hospital $1.2 million for the care of premature babies.
